Hellu! I’m Poh Yee, a full time Pharmacy university student and a freelance art hobbyist! As a university student that is bombarded with studies most of the time, I try my best to allocate time to create and put my imaginations into  reality as a way to stay sane hehe.

 

Most of my artworks involves calligraphy and lettering to convey messages in a more appealing way. I discovered calligraphy since 2017, but only began actively practicing it in 2019. My biggest inspiration comes from scrolling endlessly on Pinterest and feasting my eyes on beautiful colours palette and aesthetically pleasing illustrations and arts. Oh I doodle too! Hehe. 

 

The medium that I use for my arts ranges from traditional watercolour to digital art. Digital art has been my favourite so far as I get to alter my drawings freely and a̶g̶g̶r̶e̶s̶s̶i̶v̶e̶l̶y̶ utilize the undo function. I am also in the midst of learning copperplate calligraphy and familiarize myself with using a nib pen.

 

I don’t have a specific art style that I work with as I am still working on discovering and cultivating a style of my own. that can represent my personality and style. I am still learning and always progressing to be better, one artwork at a time, Teehee.
